The constituent assembly of public organization the “Public Control “Euro 2012” took place on the 24th of January, 2008.
The main aims of this organization are to inform the community about the process of preparation for the European championship for football in 2012, to take preventive measures in the corruption manifestation, to take under control the budget expense, to create clear and equal conditions in providing access to tenders for sport and infrastructure objects building.
The participants of the constituent assembly have noticed that the main task for Ukrainian community today is to prevent the breakdown of the “Euro 2012” championship and its transferring to another country.
Yakiv Pogrebniak, the chairman of the international organization “Ukraine –Poland”, Sergiy Tatusiak the chairman of the international organization “Ukraine –Poland – Germany”, Volodymyr Prodyvus, the vice-president of the Ukrainian Boxing Federation, Victor Khrystoev, the deputy of Kharkiv region council have been elected co-chairmen of the “Public Control “Euro 2012” organization.
Andriy Shinkovych has been elected a head of this organization.
Similar structure of public control is being created in Poland now.
