The Community against the transfer of “Euro 2012” from Ukraine The last UEFA’s warning about “the possibility of choosing the other master of the tournament, if the business goes badly” gives concern to Ukrainian community.“It will be the ideological mistake for Ukraine to lose the chance of rising the next step of the word’s recognition and respect and it will take centuries to improve it” – said the co-founder of the Public Control organization Volodymyr Prodyvus. The all-Ukrainian public organization “Public Control “Euro 2012” has led the questioning. The answers for the question “Who is responsible for the possible frustration of the European Football Championship in Ukraine?” are: · 47% - Government· 23% - the responsible national agency· 18% - the president of Ukraine · 12% have no answer or their own answer 12 650 people of Ukraine aged from 16 to 68 in all regions were interviewed by the phone method. “Sometimes there is an impression that the preparation for the European Football Championship is business of closed circle of people, - says the co-founder of “Public control” Yakov Pogrebnyak. – But if the business goes good, it’s all right. If you, dear gentlemen, are not able to do this, so get worthy professionals to take part in it”.The members of the organization “Public Control “Euro 2012” notice that the creation of the united committee, National agency, a number of other structures doesn’t give a proper result.“The community has to take the resolute actions in order to awake the responsible for the preparation persons, - says the head of executive management Andriy Shinkovych. – The image of Ukraine can suffer from the mercenary vanity, which uses as a cover organizational problems”.“Public Control “Euro 2012” starts the action in order to gather the signs under the appeal from the community to the president of Ukraine, cabinet of ministers and the government. The acceleration for “Euro 2012” preparation is among the requests. “The Public Control “Euro 2012” was created on the 24th of January 2008. The main aims of this organization are to inform the community about the process of preparation for the European Football championship 2012, to take preventive measures in the corruption manifestation, to take under control the budget expense, to create clear and equal conditions in providing access to tenders for sport and infrastructure objects building.
